Palm Inc. (PALM) said that it is working with Bluefire to provide Palm Foleo mobile companion customers security for mobile data-in-transit. The VPN software client easily fits in with existing network infrastructures and configurations, and functions across Wi-Fi, LAN and cellular networks. The company said the applications for the Foleo mobile companion will be sold separately. U.S. pricing and application availability will be announced in conjunction with Foleo this summer.
