DJ Khaled recently released a new song, "Staying Alive," featuring Drake and Lil Baby. The song is the lead single from his new album God Did, which is due out on August 26.
The R.T. Thorne-directed medical-themed video, released along with the song, features Khaled, Lil Baby and Drake going through their work at "Khaled Khaled Hospital."
"We represent the future of medicine. Our surgical residents are at the top of their class, our highly decorated doctors are at the top of their fields, and our equipment is simply put - state of the art. We are here to ensure that you are always #StayingAlive. We're here to do GOD's work," an Instagram post says about the hospital's mission.
DJ Khaled plays Dr. Khaled, the head of general surgery, while Drake is Dr. Graham, who heads the neurosurgery department, and Lil Baby is Dr. Jones, the head cardiothoracic surgeon.
The chorus of the song interpolates the 1977 Bee Gees song of the same name. The song's credits list the Gibb brothers Robin, Andy and Maurice as lyricists and composers of the track.
