The United States has warned that Iran will face severe consequences if it attacks any U.S. citizens, including those who continue to serve the United States or those who formerly served the country.
The warning was given by U.S National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in a statement he issued after the Department of Justice charged a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with plot to murder former National Security Advisor John Bolton on American soil.
