Country music superstar Carrie Underwood surprised everyone present at a Tennessee bar after she joined a band called The Heartshakers for an impromptu cover of a Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty classic.
In a video shared on social media, Underwood, who was with some friends at the restaurant/bar Fox and Locke in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee, on Saturday evening, August 6, was invited to the stage to sing with a local Tom Petty and the Hearbreakers tribute band called The Heartshakers.
Underwood joined The Heartshakers to sing "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," a duet that originally featured Nicks and Petty.
"Had fun @foxandtrout watching @theheartshakers!!!" Underwood shared in her Instagram stories.
"Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" was released as the first single from Nicks' debut solo album Bella Donna in 1981. The song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks.
