Dan + Shay singer Shay Mooney and his wife Hannah are expecting their third child together.
The couple revealed the new last Friday, August 12, via a video shared on social media.
The clip shows Hannah talking to the couple's sons, Asher James (4) and Ames Alexander (2). When asked, Asher says that he wants a baby sister and seems little surprised and disappointed when Hannah reveals that they'll actually be welcoming a baby brother.
"Do you remember when mommy told you they were going to call us this week and tell us if we're having a boy or girl? Do you think you're going to have a baby brother or a baby sister?" Hannah asks Asher.
"I wanted a baby sister, so it's a baby sister," Asher replies. "OK, will you be sad if it's a boy?" Hannah asks, and Asher quickly replies, "Yes, because I want a sister."
"Well, baby, it's gonna be another baby brother," Hannah replies gently, as Asher says, "I wanted a sister!"
Hannah captioned the video: "Mooney Baby #3! Thankful. Excited. Tired."
