After moving notably higher early in the session, stocks have seen further upside over the course of the trading day on Friday. With the advance, the major averages are extending the strong upward move seen over the two previous sessions.
In recent trading, the major averages have reached new highs for the session. The Dow is up 382.61 point or 1.2 percent at 32,157.13, the Nasdaq is up 250.95 points or 2.1 percent at 12,113.08 and the S&P 500 is up 61.08 points or 1.5 percent at 4,067.26.
