The video for "Happier," a collaboration featuring Marshmello and British indie pop band Bastille, has exceeded one billion views on YouTube.
This marks Bastille's first video to hit the mark, but for the DJ it is his third video to reach the milestone after "Alone" and "FRIENDS."
"Happier" is the highest-charting single for both Marshmello and Bastille.
Written by Marshmello, Bastille frontman Dan Smith and Steve Mac, the song was released on August 16, 2018.
Smith says "Happier" was originally written for Justin Bieber but the band ultimately decided to keep it for themselves.
The music video follows the story of a shy, sensitive girl and her birthday present, a Golden Retriever puppy named Mello.
Miranda Cosgrove stars as the teenager in the official music video, released on September 24, 2018.
Teala Dunn, Jordyn Jones and James Babson co-star in the visual.
