Red Hot Chili Peppers earned their second No. 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales Chart of the year after Return of the Dream Canteen debuted atop the tally.
The record, which is the band's second studio effort of 2022, also debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, Top Current Album Sales, Tastemaker Albums and Vinyl Albums charts.
The set sold 56,000 copies in the U.S. in the week ending October 20, according to Luminate.
Previously, RHCP's Unlimited Love had topped Top Album Sales Chart. The band has now become the first group with two No. 1 rock albums on the chart in less than 12 months since 2005.
In total, the Peppers have scored four No. 1s on Top Album Sales: Return of the Dream Canteen, Unlimited Love, The Getaway (2016) and Stadium Arcadium (2006).
