Heavy Weights Germany, Belgium Eliminated From World Cup

Two European powerhouses have crashed out in the first round of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Belgium were held to a goalless draw in their crucial match against Croatia, leaving them third in Group F.

Morocco edged Canada 2-1, and advanced to the pe-quarter final as group champions, followed by Croatia.

Although Germany rounded off the preliminary stage with a 4-2 win over Costa Rica in group E, Japan defeating Spain 2-1 at the same time meant that Germans ended up third in the group behind the Spanish on goal difference.
