Kanye West Suspended From Twitter After Posting Swastika

Kanye West's Twitter account has been suspended after he posted an image of a swastika depicted inside a Star of David on the social media platform.

Announcing the action, Twitter CEO Elon Musk said, "I tried my best." "Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended," he tweeted.

This is the latest set back for Ye, as conservative social media platform Parler also canceled a previous deal to sell the site to him.

The rapper and mogul's recent controversial antisemitic actions such as saying "I like Hitler" and denying the Jewish Holocaust have evoked widespread condemnation.

Ye's Twitter and Instagram accounts were suspended in October for violating policies on hate speech.

Clothing giant Adidas severed its partnership with Ye in the same month, saying it does "not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech."
