"Save Your Tears," a popular song by The Weekend from the album After Hours, has exceeded 1 billion views on Youtube.

The track was released as the fourth single from the album, which dropped on March 20, 2020.

The romantic lyrics of the song reflect the singer's thoughts on love: "You could've asked me why I broke your heart/You could've told me that you fell apart/But you walked past me like I wasn't there..."

In the video, the Canadian singer Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, popularly known as The Weeknd, can be seen performing amidst a dinner party with masked participants, splashing champagne on their faces, carrying a gun, and shooting himself at the end.

Following the release of the album in 2020, the song was No. 1 in 18 countries and among the top 10 in 33 countries.

The Weeknd continues to be the first artist to win the Global Digital Single Award two years in a row.
