Global pop superstar Justin Bieber has reportedly sold his music rights to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million.

According to Billboard, Hipgnosis has agreed to buy 100% of Bieber's publishing as well as his artist royalties from his master recordings and neighboring rights.

The deal was priced at about $200 million, according to a source familiar with the situation, which makes this the largest rights sale for any artist of Bieber's generation.

"Justin is truly a once in a generation artist and that is reflected and acknowledged by the magnitude of this deal," Bieber's longtime manager, Scooter Braun, said in a statement. "For 15 years I have been grateful to witness this journey and today I am happy for all those involved. Justin's greatness is just beginning."
