Shares of Sunrise New Energy Co., Ltd. (EPOW), a manufacturer of graphite anode material for EVs, are rising more than 14% Friday morning after the company reported more than 1500% growth in revenue in the first quarter.
Revenue for the first quarter increased 1718% to 8 million from $440,000 in the same period last year.
The company also added that its chairman Haiping Hu has recently bought 20,000 EPOW shares at an average price of $2.78.
EPOW, currently at $2.63, has been trading in the range of $1.37-$6.42 in the last 1 year.
