Market sentiment remained dominated by concerns over the U.S. debt ceiling deadlock, hawkish comments from Fed officials as well as disappointing economic data from China.

European benchmarks are mostly trading higher amidst strong earnings updates. Wall Street Futures are trading in the red zone. Asian stocks finished trading on a mixed note amidst disappointing data from China.

Dollar retreated, dragging the Dollar Index. Bond yields moved lower. Crude oil prices dropped amidst weaker than expected economic data from China. Gold declined amidst hawkish comments by Fed speakers. Cryptocurrencies declined.
