Brad Paisley recently released a new song, "So Many Summers," from his upcoming album, Son of the Mountains, which is due out later this year via EMI Records Nashville/Universal Music Group.
The lyrics of the song, co-written by Paisley, Lee Thomas Miller and Ross Copperman, tell listeners to seize every moment, with lines like "So go to that party, light that fire/Hold her hand in the hot moonlight/Lose track of time, pull an all-nighter/When the sun comes up, kiss her goodnight/You only get so many summers."
"Look at that road, look at that sunset / Look at that girl waiting on the porch / It's gonna be a cold September / Tell me boy, what are you waitin' for / You only get so many summers," Paisley sings.
Paisley co-produced "So Many Summers" with Luke Wooten, who also co-produced Paisley's Love and War album in 2017 and Moonshine in the Trunk in 2014.
