Greta Van Fleet recently released "The Falling Sky," the latest single from the rock band's upcoming album Starcatcher.
The group has also shared a live performance video for the song, which was recorded at their concert in Sacramento during their "Dreams in Gold Tour" in March.
The track premiered on Apple Music 1's "The Zane Lowe Show."
"An unwavering warrior carrying on the endless, eternal, and impossible battle for salvation; these were the elements of symbolism associated with this particular track," said Greta Van Fleet guitarist Jake Kiszka. "In essence our fate is sealed, alike the stars that fall from the almighty heavens to the earth. This philosophy is carried through in the story of a bluesman, at the crossroads of the universe."
"The Falling Sky" is the fourth track that Greta Van Fleet have shared from Starcatcher. The band's much-awaited third studio album is scheduled for release on July 21 on Lava/Republic Records.
"Meeting The Master," "Sacred The Thread" and "Farewell For Now" are the previously released tracks.
