During Cardi B's performance at Drai's Beachclub in Las Vegas last weekend, one of the fans in the crowd threw a drink at the rapper.
Provoked by the move, Cardi B hurled a microphone at the attacker.
Cardi B was performing her hit song "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" when the incident occurred.
She retweeted a video of the altercation, which subsequently went viral on social media. Cardi B is the latest artist to have been disrupted in the middle of their shows, hit with objects hurled at them. Drake, P!nk, Bebe Rexha, Lil Nas X, Harry Styles and Kelsea Ballerini have also had such experiences recently.
Bebe Rexha was injured when a mobile phone hit her in the face.
