Metallica Launch Weekly Podcast 'The Metallica Report'

Metallica on Wednesday launched the first episode of their weekly podcast, "The Metallica Report."

The new podcast will be "a quick, weekly hit, including news, updates, exclusive features, and surprises from HQ and beyond," according to the legendary metal band.

The podcast will be hosted by Steffan Chirazi, the editor of Metallica's online magazine, So What!, and Renee Richardson, Director of Philanthropy for All Within My Hands and well-known Bay Area radio personality.

With each episode, Steffan and Renee will keep fans informed with the latest news from Metallica HQ and dispatches from the road as the M72 Tour continues to make its way around the world. They will also present exclusive, behind-the-scenes updates and interviews with the likes of the touring crew, poster and t-shirt artists, and fans.

Metallica bandmembers are also expected to make a few appearances on the podcast.

"The Metallica Report" will also take fans' questions and share their stories every Wednesday.
