Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins' son Shane Hawkins joined Chevy Metal for classic rock covers on August 21 at the Rock N Roll Pizza Bar in Simi Valley, California.
Chevy Metal is the cover band previously helmed by late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Grohl and Chevy Metal performed the Police's "Next to You," the Rolling Stones' "Bitch," Van Halen's "Everybody Wants Some!!," "Jamie's Cryin'," and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," Spinal Tap's "Jazz Odyssey," Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick," Queen's "Tie Your Mother Down," The Kinks' "You Really Got Me," and AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap."
Taylor died in March 2022 in Bogota, Colombia, due to a reported cardiovascular collapse at the age of 50.
