Metallica's second Arizona show has been postponed to September 9, as the band's founder and guitarist James Hetfield has been tested positive for Covid-19.
Metallica were scheduled to perform their M72 No Repeat Weekend show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday.
The first of the band's two concerts in Glendale on Friday was cut sort after Hetfield was suffering from vocal issues, apparently due to coronavirus infection.
"We're extremely disappointed and regret any inconvenience this has caused for you; we look forward to returning to complete the M72 no repeat weekend in Glendale next Saturday," Metallica said in a statement.
All tickets for September 3 will be honored at the September 9 show. More information, including refund details for those who cannot join next weekend, will be available at SeatGeek.com.
Fans have been advised to keep their eyes on Metallica.com and the band's social media accounts for additional details and updates.
