Country star Zach Bryan was recently arrested in Oklahoma on charges of obstruction of investigation.

According to TMZ, Bryan was arrested for obstruction of investigation in Vinita, Oklahoma, and booked in Craig County Jail on Thursday, September 7.

"Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol," Bryan shared on social media following the arrest. "Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize."

"They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around," he continued. "Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I'm just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers."

As TMZ further noted, Bryan's most recent social media post before the arrest was a photo of his dog in the passenger seat of a car with the caption "On the road again, gonna go see the birds win."

The Instagram Story is timestamped around 7 p.m. ET, near the time of his booking at 7:42 p.m. ET, according to the Craig County Sheriff's website.

It appears that Bryan was en route to see his favorite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles, take on the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday for their week 1 match-up.
