Global superstar Taylor Swift turned out to be the biggest winner at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
Swift took home nine awards, including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects all for "Anti-Hero." She also won the award for Album of the Year for Midnights as well as Artist of the Year and Show of the Summer.
Swift also became the first artist to win Video of the Year for two consecutive years and extended her record for the most wins in that category to four, after previously winning for "Bad Blood," "You Need to Calm Down," and "All Too Well: The Short Film."
Other winners include Ice Spice, Tomorrow X Together, Karol G, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Lana Del Rey, Maneskin, Anitta, Stray Kids, Blackpink, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, BTS' Jung Kook and Latto.
The show was hosted by Nicki Minaj, who also delivered an energetic performance of "Last Time I Saw You" and debuted new material from her upcoming album Pink Friday 2.
