The Pretenders have announced an short run of intimate U.K. club shows for the autumn.
The band will visit London, Manchester and Glasgow on October 19, 23 and 25, respectively, in support of their recently released new album, Relentless.
Tickets go on sale at 10 am on Friday, September 22.
The run also includes a special album launch gig at Liverpool's new venue Content on October 22. Tickets for that performance are already on sale.
Vocalist Chrissie Hynde said, "Well, everyone prefers being in them. I certainly would rather go to see a band in the club. So there's that, because I'm still an audience member. And also it's just more fun."
She added, "It's a small stage. And you can see everyone and they're right in your face and it's a laugh, that's why you're there. If I see some crazy in the audience, I can really feed off of that. You can't see it when you're too far away."
The Pretenders' new studio album, Relentless, dropped last Friday, September 15th, via Rhino Records.
