Heavy metal legends Judas Priest have released a new song "Trial By Fire," the second single from their upcoming studio album, Invincible Shield.
Invincible Shield is set to drop on March 8, 2024 via Sony Music. The band had previously released the band's first single, "Panic Attack." The album will be the band's first album in six years following 2018's Firepower.
Judas Priest announced their long-awaited 19th studio album Invincible Shield during their live performance at Indio, California's Power Trip festival.
The band filled in for former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who was scheduled to headline at the festival but withdrew due to ongoing health issues.
Judas Priest have been working on Invincible Shield on and off for the past few years. Earlier this year, guitarist Richie Faulkner told Heavy Consequence, "We've been working on a record for quite a while now. That got halted a little bit because of the COVID lockdowns. We've been trying to get that finished."
