Moonpig Group plc (MOON.L) reported that its first half profit before tax increased to 18.9 million pounds from 9.1 million pounds, last year. Earnings per share was 4.0 pence compared to 1.7 pence. Adjusted profit before tax was 20.8 million pounds, up 9.7%. Earnings per ordinary share before adjusting items was 4.4 pence compared to 4.2 pence.
First half revenue increased to 152.14 million pounds from 142.79 million pounds, last year. Pro forma revenue growth was 2.1%.
The Group said its current trading remains in line with its overall expectations. The Group's expectations for full year consolidated revenue and adjusted EBITDA remain unchanged.
