Frasers Group PLC reported first half profit before tax from continuing operations of 310.2 million pounds compared to 260.8 million pounds, last year. Earnings per share from continuing operations was 53.0 pence compared to 41.0 pence. Adjusted profit before tax was 303.8 million pounds, up 12.6% from previous year. Adjusted earnings per share was 53.7 pence compared to 45.4 pence.
First half Group revenue from continuing operations was 2.72 billion pounds compared to 2.59 billion pounds, last year. Retail revenue increased by 4.0%, largely due to the impact of businesses acquired and a strong underlying performance from Sports Direct. Excluding acquisitions and disposals, on a currency neutral basis, revenue increased by 0.8%.
Looking forward, Frasers Group remains confident of achieving full year adjusted profit before tax in the range 500 million pounds-550 million pounds. The Group expects further profitable growth for fiscal 2025 and beyond.
