Hip-hop superstar Cardi B recently confirmed that she has separated from husband Offset.
"I've been single for a minute now," the 31 year-old rapper revealed to her fans on Instagram Live. "But I have been afraid… Not afraid, I just don't know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been, like, a sign."
Cardi B said in a recording of the livestream shared on X that she wants to start 2024 "like, fresh, open." "I don't know. I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I'm excited," she added.
The artists, who have been married for six years, are parents to daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2.
Speculation of a possible split was in the air as the couple earlier this month unfollowed each other on Instagram, and did not pose for photographs together after attending the TikTok In the Mix music festival in Mesa, Arizona.
Cardi B had filed for divorce in 2020, only to withdraw the filing months later.
