The Cult are set to reissue their debut album, Dreamtime, on vinyl in celebration of its 40th anniversary on February 23rd via Beggars Banquet.
The ten-song album will be available on both oxblood and black vinyl. It will mark the first time the album has been issued on vinyl since 1991.
Dreamtime was originally released on August 31, 1984 by Beggars Banquet Records. It peaked at No. 21 on the U.K. Albums Chart and was later certified silver by the BPI after having sold 60,000 copies.
Dreamtime includes the singles "Spiritwalker" and "Go West." Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy recently revisited the record on tour as Death Cult, their pre-The Cult band name.
The Cult's most recent album is 2022's Under the Midnight Sun.
