Character Group (CCT.L), a provider of toys, games, and giftware, said on Friday that it expects its full-year profitability to be in line with the current market expectations.
The company cited satisfactorily continuing trade with a strong portfolio of products as key reasons for its current expectations on profitability.
The Group noted that for the first four months of the current financial year, its turnover remained flat and largely in line with the comparable period of 2023, with an improvement in profitability. "Going into 2024, the strength of our product offering will be crucial in delivering the Group's forecast sales in the second half of the current financial year," the toy maker said.
