Porvair FY23 Earnings Rise; Lifts Dividend

Porvair plc (PRV.L), a filtration and environmental technology company, on Monday reported higher earnings and revenues for the fiscal 2023. The company also raised its final dividend.

Yearly earnings before tax increased 7 percent to 20.1 million pounds from 18.7 million pounds, last year.

After tax, earnings rose 9 percent to 16 million pounds or 34.8 pence per share from 14.7 million pounds or 32 pence per share in the previous year.

Excluding items, earnings before tax was 21.4 million pounds, compared with 19.4 million pounds in the prior year.

Adjusted earnings after tax was 17.1 million pounds or 37.2 pence per share, compared with 15.3 million pounds or 33.2 pence per share in the last year.

Revenues climbed 2 percent to 176 million pounds from 172.6 million pounds over a year ago. On a constant currency basis, revenue edged up by 1 percent.

Additionally, the company declared a final dividend of 4 pence per share, higher than 3.8 per share of last year, payable on June 5 to shareholders of record as on May 3.

The full year dividend would be 6.0 pence, higher than prior year's 5.7 pence.

On Friday, Porvair shares closed at 660 pence in London.
