Shares of Sunworks Inc. (SUNW) are surging more than 196 percent on Friday morning trade, bouncing back from a year-to-date low on Thursday.
The shares have been falling since the company and its three subsidiaries filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Monday. As per the SEC filing, the assets of the commercial solar developer will be liquidated.
Currently, shares are at $0.16, up 196.96 percent from the previous close of 0.05 on a volume of 224,248,629.
