Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (TELDF.OB,TFTHF.OB), a German telecom major, on Wednesday reported a rise in preliminary profit and revenue for the full year.
For the 12-month period, the company's total profit improved to 273 million euros, up 17.8 percent from previous year. Operating income climbed by 21.4 percent to 291 million euros from last year. OIBDA was up at 2.617 billion euros, up 3.1 percent from previous year.
Excluding items, EBITDA stood at 2.617 billion euros, for the year.Other income moved up by 4.7 percent to 160 million euros from 2022.
Revenue was 8.614 billion euros, up 4.7 percent from previous year, on sustained mobile service revenue momentum. Mobile service revenue moved up by 2.7 percent to 5.895 billion euros, from last year.
Telefonica Deutschland said that it intends to propose a dividend of EURc 18 per share to the annual general meeting.
Looking ahead, for the full-year 2024, the company expects a slightly positive year-over-year revenue growth.
Excluding items, telecom major projects an annual low to low-mid single-digit EBITDA percentage growth.
