M&C Saatchi Plc. (SAA.L), an advertising company, announced on Thursday that it has appointed Zaid Al-Qassab as chief executive officer, with effect from May 13.
Zaid will succeed the Group's previous CEO Moray MacLennan, who retired last year.
Post appointment, Zillah Byng-Thorne, current acting Executive Chair, will return to her role as non-executive chair of the company.
Most recently, Zaid was chief marketing officer at Channel 4, where he was responsible for marketing, digital, product, communications and PR, advertising, and others.
He was previously Chief Brand & Marketing Officer of BT Plc, where he led the BT, EE, Plusnet & Openreach brands.
