City of London Investment Group (CLIG.L) Friday reported profit before tax of $11.07 million for the first half, higher than $10.97 million in the comparable period last year.
Excluding one-time items, underlying profit before tax was slightly lower at $13.31 million compared with $13.57 million a year ago.
Net profit declined to $8.22 million or 16.5 cents per share from $8.42 million or 17 cents per share last year.
Net fee income increased to $32.61 million from $31.89 million in the previous year.
Funds under Management (FuM) were $9.6 billion as on December 31 2023. This compares with $9.2 billion at 31st December 2022.
The company has declared an interim dividend of 11p per share, payable on March 28 to shareholders on the register on March 1.
