Braemar Plc. (BMS.L), a shipbroking and financial advisory company, said on Wednesday that its fiscal 2024 revenue and underlying operating profit will be lower than last year, but in line with market expectations.

In its trading update for the twelve months ended February 29, the company said it has achieved another strong performance in the year.

Revenue for the year is expected to be not less than 150 million pounds, compared to last year's 153 million pounds. Underlying operating profit would be not less than 18 million pounds, compared to 20 million a year ago.

The company compiled consensus is revenue of 150.4 million pounds and underlying operating profit of 18 million pounds.

Further, the board expects to recommend a final dividend of 9 pence per share, up from last year's 8 pence. This will deliver a total dividend for the year of 13 pence, an increase of 8%.

Looking ahead, the company said it entered fiscal 2025 with a total forward order book of $83 million, a substantial increase of 47% on the prior year, providing the board with confidence for the year ahead.

The company expects to announce its fiscal 2024 results by the end of May 2024.
