Acorda Therapeutics Inc. (ACOR), after having evaluated all of its strategic options, has filed for Chapter 11 protection to facilitate an orderly sale process.
The company's marketed drugs include AMPYRA/FAMPYRA for the improvement of walking in adults with multiple sclerosis with walking disability and INBRIJA indicated for intermittent treatment of OFF episodes in adults with Parkinson's disease treated with carbidopa/levodopa.
