Origin Agritech Expects H1 Revenue To Improve

Origin Agritech Ltd. (SEED), a Chinese crop seed breeding and genetically modified organism company, on Tuesday announced that it expects an increase in revenue for the first-half.

For the six-month period, the company expects revenue of RMB 85 million to RMB 95 million, an increase of 30 percent to 40 percent from last year.

Origin Agritech further noted that its two new hybrids have successfully completed three years of national trials and are expected to receive approval this summer. These hybrids are anticipated to be commercially available in 2025.

In addition, 15 new hybrids have entered the national official registration trial.
