GlycoMimetics Inc. (GLYC), a biotechnology company, has a clinical trial catalyst to watch closely this quarter.
The company's lead drug candidate is Uproleselan, a first-in-class, E-selectin antagonist, which is a carbohydrate-binding transmembrane molecule expressed on the surface of blood vessels.
Uproleselan is currently in a comprehensive phase III trial in relapsed/refractory (R/R) Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). A total of 388 patients across 70 sites in nine countries were enrolled in the trial. Topline results from this study are due this quarter (Q2, 2024).
