Cartesian Awaits Myasthenia Gravis Trial Results

Cartesian Therapeutics Inc. (RNAC), a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering mRNA cell therapy for autoimmune diseases, has a clinical trial catalyst to watch in the coming months.

The company's lead drug candidate is DESCARTES-08, currently under a phase IIb trial in patients with generalized myasthenia gravis.

Generalized myasthenia gravis is a debilitating autoimmune disease affecting over 60,000 people in the U.S. *It is caused by autoantibodies targeting components of the neuromuscular junction (Source: NLM).
