Camellia CFO Susan Walker To Step Down; Oliver Capon Named Replacement

Camellia Plc (CAM.L) engaged in agriculture and engineering services businesses on Thursday said that Susan Walker, chief financial officer intends to step down at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on June 6.

Subsequently the company has appointed Oliver Capon as the new CFO. Oliver would initially join as Finance Director Designate on May 28 and would become the CFO following the AGM.

Oliver is an experienced and commercial CFO with thirty years of experience, initially at Arthur Andersen and subsequently at Shell Plc, where he worked in the UK and internationally.

Susan would continue working with the company to facilitate a smooth handover until September 30. She would remain a Non-Executive Director of certain of the Company's boards, including the Goodricke Group Limited and Bangladesh tea company boards.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
