CASI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CASI) announced that the FDA approved the Investigational New Drug Application or IND for CID-103, a fully human IgG1 anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody targeting adults with chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia.
Immune Thrombocytopenia is a severe autoimmune blood disorder where autoantibodies destroy platelets and thus platelet production is impaired, resulting in a higher chance of dangerous bleeding.
In pre-market activity on the Nasdaq, the shares are trading at $3.45, up 9.87%.
