Treatt plc (TET.L), a maker of ingredients and natural extracts to the flavor, fragrance, beverage and consumer goods industries, Monday said that its new Chief Executive Officer David Shannon joined the company today.
In March, Treatt had announced the appointment of Shannon as the new CEO following the retirement of Daemmon Reeves in December 31, 2023. In the meantime, Ryan Govender was the interim CEO.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
