OceanaGold Corp. (OGC.TO), Friday announced the death of an employee at its Didipio Mine in the Philippines, and suspended operations at the mine for a temporary period.

The Australian company added that an investigation is underway about the incident.

Currently, OceanaGold's stock is moving down 3.13 percent, to CAD 3.24 on the Toronto.
