Premier Foods plc (PFD.L) issued a trading update for the thirteen weeks ended 29 June 2024. First quarter Group sales were up 5.3% from prior year. Grocery revenue increased by 7.1% in the quarter. Sweet Treats sales were 0.4% ahead of last year. Overseas sales increased 24% compared to the prior year.
Looking forward, the Group said, in the current year, it expects to deliver further volume led branded sales growth, progress against strategic pillars and full year expectations for fiscal 24/25 are unchanged.
