Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (GELYF.PK), a Chinese conglomerate, on Wednesday reported a surge in net profit for the six-month period to June 30 at RMB10.597 billion or 103.88 cents per share, compared with RMB1.570 billion or 14.75 cents per share, posted for the same period last year.
Profit before tax stood at RMB10.939 billion as against prior year's RMB1.474 billion.
Revenue was RMB107.305 billion, up from last year's RMB73.181 billion.
Sales of automobiles and related services rose to RMB87.479 billion from RMB60.284 billion in 2023.
