Excluding items, HEALTHEQUITY INC reported adjusted earnings of $76.3 million or $0.86 per share for the period.
Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.7 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company's revenue for the quarter rose 23.2% to $299.9 million from $243.5 million last year.
