Lower Open Predicted For Hong Kong Stock Market

The Hong Kong stock market has moved lower in two straight sessions, slumping almost 340 points or 2 percent in that span. The Hang Seng Index now sits just above the 17,650-point plateau and it's likely in store for more pain on Wednesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is broadly negative on concerns over the global economy. The European and U.S. markets were sharply lower and the Asian bourses are tipped to follow suit.
