John Legend recently released a music video for "Always Come Back," a song from his latest album, My Favorite Dream.

Legend had unveiled "Always Come Back" via a live performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on September 4.

The animated visual, helmed by Regan Brunsvold, marks a tribute to the Grammy-winner's wife Chrissy Teigen and their four children. It features his family photos.

"I may ride the planes and trains and distant highways / But I know I'll be finding my way home / Though I'm gone, just know / It's not for long / And no matter where I might roam / I'll always come back to you," the EGOT winner sings.

"Posting this as I've just arrived in Asia for two weeks of shows. Chrissy and I often need to travel for work, but every time we leave, we make our kids one simple promise: we'll always come back. That promise inspired this song, Always Come Back, and I'm so excited to share the official video with you," Legend wrote about the inspiration behind the song.

The singer said that featuring his family in the track's animated music video just felt natural.

"Whether you're stepping out for work or traveling far away, the message is the same — no matter how far we go, we will return to the ones we love," he added. "Including my family in this video felt natural because they are the heart of this song and the inspiration for this album. I hope it resonates with you and your family and becomes a special reminder for your little ones, too."

My Favorite Dream, which features sing-alongs and lullabies for children and families, arrived via Republic Records: Kids & Family on August 30.
