PROCEPT BioRobotics Corp. (PRCT), a surgical robotics company, has not only reported better-than-expected results for the third quarter but has also upgraded its 2024 revenue outlook for the third time, propelling its shares to an all-time high of $90.79 in today's trading.
The company manufactures and sells AquaBeam Robotic System and HYDROS Robotic System. The AquaBeam Robotic System is an advanced, image-guided, surgical robotic system for use in minimally invasive urologic surgery, with an initial focus on treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH. The HYDROS Robotic System is a next-generation, AI-powered platform for aquablation therapy, which received FDA clearance as recently as August of this year. Aquablation therapy is the first and only ultrasound-guided, robotic-assisted, heat-free waterjet for the treatment of BPH.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
