Opera Q3 Profit, Revenue Rise; Raises Full-year Revenue Outlook; Stock Up In Pre-market

Opera Limited (OPRA), a provider of mobile and PC web browsers, Tuesday reported net income of $17.94 million or $0.20 per ADS for the third quarter, higher than $16.84 million or $0.18 per ADS in the same quarter a year ago. The company also raised its full-year revenue outlook. Opera shares were trading more than 12 percent up in pre-market.

Excluding one-time items, earnings were $22.88 million or $0.26 per ADS compared with $17.4 million or $0.19 per ADS in the previous year.

Operating profit was $23.2 million, up from $16.1 million last year.

Revenue for the quarter increased 20 percent to $123.21 million from $102.64 million in the previous year.

For the full-year, the company now expects revenue in the range of $470 million - 473 million, up from the previous outlook of $461 million - 467 million.

For the fourth quarter revenue is expected between $135 million and $138 million.

Opera stock had closed at $16.87, up 2.37 percent on Monday. It has traded in the range of $10.11 - $17.31 in the last 1 year.
